Able Systems
ABLE Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how Able Systems handles information when you use ABLE, including Able Recovery and the personal recovery agent called Able.
Information you provide
We receive the contact and account information you provide, along with journal entries, emails and Telegram messages you send to ABLE, replies, onboarding answers, and files or other material you choose to submit. Your journal often includes health information about your injury and recovery.
Technical information
We also receive information needed to operate the service, such as timestamps, delivery and verification status, service events, device or browser information sent with a request, and security and error records.
How we use information
We use information to create and operate your journal, personalize questions and check-ins, respond to you, and produce reflections, summaries, reports, and other outputs you request. We also use limited operational information to secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Service providers and AI processing
We use providers for hosting, storage, email, messaging, security, and AI processing. They receive only the information needed to perform their services. AI providers may process relevant journal content to generate a response or requested output.
Able Systems does not use your journal to train a general-purpose AI model.
We access AI models only through their business APIs, and our account settings with each provider do not allow your journal to be used to train their models.
When a person sees your journal
People at Able Systems do not routinely read journals. A person may see part of your journal only when a message triggers a safety alert, when a message you send needs a human reply, when you ask for help, when needed to fix a problem with your journal, or when the law requires it.
Sharing with your attorney or others
We do not share your journal, summaries, or files with an attorney, insurer, employer, or anyone else unless you choose to share them. We may disclose information if required by a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process; where the law allows, we will tell you first.
Storage and retention
ABLE intentionally keeps your journal and longitudinal history so the service can remember your recovery over time. We keep account, operational, and journal information while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. Retention can differ by record and provider.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee complete security, and we do not make claims of anonymity, exclusive access, or zero retention.
No sale or advertising
We do not sell personal information. We do not use journal content for targeted advertising.
Your requests
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your information by emailing support@helloable.ai. We may need to verify the request and may retain information when required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Children
ABLE is for adults 18 and older. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as ABLE changes. We will notify you by email of material changes, and the effective date above shows when the current version took effect. If you do not agree with an update, you may stop using ABLE at any time.
