Able Systems
ABLE Terms of Use
Effective October 21, 2026.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using ABLE, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who can use ABLE
You must be 18 or older to use ABLE.
What ABLE does
ABLE helps you keep a personal recovery journal through check-ins, messages, reflections, summaries, and reports. Check-ins arrive by email on a schedule you choose, and you can write to ABLE by email or Telegram. Each week ABLE may prepare a Personal Reflection for you and an Attorney View you can choose to share with your attorney. The service may use AI to interpret and organize what you share.
Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate contact information, protect access to your email and messaging accounts, and tell us promptly if you believe your access has been compromised. You are responsible for the content you submit and for deciding what to share from your journal.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide. You give Able Systems a limited permission to host, process, organize, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to produce outputs you request.
Responsible use
Do not use ABLE to break the law, harm others, interfere with the service, access another person's information, introduce malicious code, or attempt to bypass security or usage controls.
AI responses and professional judgment
AI-generated responses can be incomplete or wrong. Review important information before relying on it. ABLE is not a law firm, medical provider, therapist, emergency service, or substitute for professional judgment. If you may be in danger or need urgent help, call 911 or contact an appropriate professional. If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988.
Safety alerts
If a message suggests a possible emergency, ABLE may reply with emergency guidance. ABLE is not monitored around the clock. Do not rely on ABLE to get you help.
Your journal and legal matters
ABLE never sends your journal, an Attorney View, or anything else to an attorney, insurer, or anyone else unless you choose to share it or the law requires it. If you are involved in a claim or lawsuit, your journal may be requested by the other side and a court may order it produced; it may not be protected by attorney-client privilege. Write truthfully, and talk to your attorney about how you use ABLE.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Suspension or termination
We may limit or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Able Systems, service providers, or the public, or when these terms are materially violated. You may stop using ABLE at any time.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, ABLE is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Able Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will notify you by email of material changes, and the effective date above shows when the current version took effect. If you do not agree with an update, you may stop using ABLE at any time.
